Description
LifeScape HBA activities: The LifeScape ‘Mariana’ home needs a wood hand railing built on both sides of their new sidewalk, mulching/general landscape, general clean up around the house and parking lot for safety & integrity and light cleaning. If time allows staining of a wood swing legs.
Tools: LifeScape will have tools to work with, BUT if your team wants to work with tools they know well, suggested tools to bring along: safety glasses, gloves, wood building tools for wood handrail construction, hand drill, level, tape measure, leaf blower, large shop broom for parking lot clean up, shovel, wheelbarrow, whatever other tools you want to bring. Please wear work clothing.
The LifeScape ‘Mariana’ home has 12 adults living in the home with various support needs. There is a sidewalk on the west side of building that has a steeper angle that needs a safety support handrail system installed. Highest emphasis will be the handrail project but will have other tasks as well that are important for safety and integrity of home.
